Parreirinha Rapido Illovo is a Portuguese takeaway kitchen in Illovo, Johannesburg. The Parreirinha name has stood for honest Portuguese food since 2016, and Rapido brings that same cooking to a quick, no-fuss takeaway format.

Our menu is built around the dishes Portuguese families in Johannesburg grew up on: chicken flame-grilled and basted in lemon & herb or peri-peri, prego and bifana rolls, beef espetada and trinchado, Portuguese steak with an egg on top, kingklip, prawns, chicken livers and giblets. We finish things off the traditional way, with natas (custard tarts) and chocolate mousse.
